Swim Technique Analysis

To help you improve your swimming technique, we offer two types of in-depth analysis:

  • Video Analysis: Your swimming will be recorded using one or more cameras to provide detailed visual feedback on your technique from different angles.

  • Kinetic Swim Technique Analysis: This cutting-edge method uses special wearable sensors attached to your hands to measure applied forces and visualize hand movements throughout each stroke.

Both options provide valuable insights and are ideal for swimmers and triathletes looking to fine-tune their swim technique and boost performance.

Video Analysis

A video analysis is the fastest way to review and correct your swimming technique. The visualisation of one’s own swimming technique enables a better understanding of individual technical strengths and weaknesses and helps to optimise movement patterns. To obtain a meaningful video analysis, you will be filmed from different angles during the swim. Immediately afterwards, the recordings are analysed on the spot and the next steps needed to improve the individual’s swimming technique are defined. The swimming videos of your swimming technique analysis will then be sent to you by e-mail.

  • Location: Swimlab Schwimmkanal, Birmensdorferstrasse 26, 8142 Zürich

  • Course goal: Optimization of individual swimming technique and performance

Kinetic Swim Technique Analysis

Take your swimming to the next level with our cutting-edge kinetic swim analysis. Unlike traditional video feedback, this method provides detailed data from inside the stroke – helping you understand not just how your technique looks, but how it truly works.

Using advanced wearable technology with high-precision sensors attached to your hands, this analysis measures the force, direction, and timing of each stroke. The result is real-time data on your underwater movements and propulsion – offering insights that video alone can’t capture.

Whether you’re a competitive swimmer, triathlete, or simply looking to refine your technique, this kinetic analysis delivers powerful, data-driven feedback to help you swim smarter and more efficiently.
